What the notices say

  • BBB Scam Tracker 1102017 (12 November 2025) is a victim account, not a court finding: lumenote.com, a mentor on Signal, wires to Crypto.com converted to USDC and sent to the site, a dashboard of short trades, and withdrawals that moved from “to be reviewed” to “failed”. Reported loss $232,481.29. Phone on the report: (213) 261-1917.
  • BBB Scam Tracker 1140552 (23 December 2025) is a second victim account: a dating-app contact, wires to several recipients, and further money demanded when a withdrawal failed. Reported loss $1,246,300. Phone on the report: (530) 649-5951.
  • Those dollar figures are the complainants'. No money-transmitter licence for Lumenote Ltd was confirmed in this pass, so none is printed. Two reports of the same domain, with the same failed withdrawal, are enough to stop sending more.
Loss or this pattern

A trading loss and this pattern are not the same

A trading loss is a real position that moved against you. You can see the trade. The pattern below is a different event.

  • a mentor on Signal or a dating app who sends you to lumenote.com
  • crypto bought on a real exchange and then forwarded to Lumenote
  • a withdrawal that sits in review and then fails, followed by a request for more money
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can you close my Lumenote account, or have the person who phoned me call again?

Forensics Source Group is not affiliated to this broker. We do not hold an account at lumenote.com. We cannot confirm a balance, close an account, or phone you as Lumenote.

Lumenote says I must pay a tax or fee before withdrawing — should I?

No. A real broker deducts a fee from the balance. A new payment to release your own money is a second charge. Keep the message that asked for it.

What do you do with what I send?

We place it next to the record above. Where the same payment shows up from other people, those files can sit together as a class action. The first look is free.
