What the notices say

  • Smart Money People lists btcpop.co as an inactive company. A Trustpilot-style review record includes a first-person account of a banned account and bitcoin that was not released, with the reviewer blaming a person named Casimer or Casimere. That is one person's account, not a court finding.
  • The same review page carries recovery-service spam, including a pitch under a name like AssetResolute. A recovery ad on a review site is a second scam. It is not evidence that anyone got bitcoin back, and a high star score on a page full of that spam is not reassurance.
  • No current licence for btcpop.co was located. Do not send a fee to a stranger who says they can unlock an old BTCPOP balance.
Loss or this pattern

A trading loss and this pattern are not the same

A trading loss is a real position that moved against you. You can see the trade. The pattern below is a different event.

  • an old btcpop.co login that no longer pays out
  • a message offering to recover the coins for a fee
  • a star rating that sits above recovery advertisements
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can you close my BTCPOP account, or have the person who phoned me call again?

Forensics Source Group is not affiliated to this broker. We do not hold an account at btcpop.co. We cannot confirm a balance, close an account, or phone you as BTCPOP.

BTCPOP says I must pay a tax or fee before withdrawing — should I?

No. A real broker deducts a fee from the balance. A new payment to release your own money is a second charge. Keep the message that asked for it.

What do you do with what I send?

We place it next to the record above. Where the same payment shows up from other people, those files can sit together as a class action. The first look is free.
