ABTCoin Review — Is ABTCoin a Scam?

Forensics Source Group is not affiliated to this broker. We do not hold this account, we cannot close a balance, and we do not phone you as this firm.

Yes. ABTCoin is an Australian-themed crypto platform that presented ABN/ACN registration as legitimacy while running a months-long WhatsApp grooming funnel ending in frozen accounts and withdrawal extortion — before the site itself went dark The notices are written once, in the block below. If you paid abtcoin.vip, the date and how you paid are the part this review cannot see.

The record

What the notices say

  • Trustpilot 1.8 with repeated withdrawal-freeze reports (Feb–Oct 2025) — and by Mar 2025 reviewers reported both abtcoin.vip and its recruitment arm dreamboot.com were down.
  • The funnel is documented: victims were recruited via WhatsApp groups run by “DB Wealth Institute” / “Dreamboot Institute” (dreamboot.com), groomed for months with fake daily trading in “projects” (NEOC, Green Channel, VRC), then blocked at withdrawal (reviews dated 20 Feb – 19 Mar 2025).
  • Withdrawal extortion, verbatim: a reviewer (14 Mar 2025) was told to deposit 2,900 USDT to an external wallet to “release” funds — money that could not be withdrawn from the platform itself.
  • No ASIC licence despite the ABN/ACN presentation (review, 29 Dec 2024); one reviewer filed with the Australian Federal Police (19 Mar 2025). The Trustpilot page is interleaved with boilerplate five-star shills (“wide range of features”, “transparent and reasonable fees”) and contaminated with recovery-scam spam (GreyOxHubs, CypherGuardIntel, “Ver-tel-waves”) — never engage those.
Loss or this pattern

A trading loss and this pattern are not the same

A trading loss is a real position that moved against you. You can see the trade. The pattern below is a different event.

  • months of friendly WhatsApp “trading group” grooming before any ask
  • fake internal “projects” with daily paper gains
  • a frozen account the moment you try to withdraw
  • a “release fee” payable to an outside wallet
  • then the sites going dark
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can you close my ABTCoin account, or have the person who phoned me call again?

Forensics Source Group is not affiliated to this broker. We do not hold an account at abtcoin.vip. We cannot confirm a balance, close an account, or phone you as ABTCoin.

ABTCoin says I must pay a tax or fee before withdrawing — should I?

No. A real broker deducts a fee from the balance. A new payment to release your own money is a second charge. Keep the message that asked for it.

What do you do with what I send?

We place it next to the record above. Where the same payment shows up from other people, those files can sit together as a class action. The first look is free.
